CrimeStoppers
Rockingham County Sheriff's Office

CrimeStoppers of Rockingham County is a community based program geared toward public involvement in the fight against crime. It offers cash rewards up to $1,000 and anonymity to citizens who provide information to CrimeStoppers.  The Rockingham County chapter was first formed in 1980, and the effort has expanded to include groups in Reidsville, Eden, Madison, Mayodan, and communities throughout the County

Most of the information received by CrimeStoppers is via telephone calls to 349-9683.  The Crimestoppers Hotline is manned 24 hours a day by a live operator.

If a caller's information results in the arrest and indictment of an offender or the apprehension of a wanted person, contact with the caller will be through a call back system and arrangements made so that the person can receive his reward in CASH and preserve his anonymity.

CrimeStoppers is a non-profit organization and is funded entirely through public donations. Contributions are tax deductible. Citizens with information about any crime are requested to call CrimeStoppers at 349-9683.
