Products Offered Through the District

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT

 		 Geo-textile Fabric - used in Best Management Practices and other heavy use areas.   Cloth is C-60NW and meets specifications of the North Carolina Agriculture Cost Share Program guidelines.   Short lengths available through District.  Ordering information for complete roll(s) also available.  Used primarily in water system installations and stock trails.


 

 		 TREE SALES - The District has an annual tree sale.  White Pine and Loblolly Pine seedlings are the two most often desired seedlings.   We also order various hardwoods, cedars, and other trees packages, based on customer requests.   Orders are taken beginning July 1 for each year with first sale conducted in December and February of each year.   Call 336-342-0460 Ext. 3 if you would like to place an order.

 		 T-SHIRTS - We currently have the t-shirts shown here, and plan to add hats.  Please call the office to check on availability.  Cost of shirts:  $10
VOLUNTARY AGRICULTURAL DISTRICTS - the District works with the Voluntary Agriculture Board to implement the VAD ordinance.  Applications are available at the local Soil and Water office, Planning Department, and Cooperative Extension.  Call 1-336-342-0460 Extension 3 or click here for additional information.
